A husband can do nothing against his wife (and vice versa), because The Holy Lord God never give a woman to be under control of a man. He made her only for a partner (to respect and agree to one another), who is called a wife in human language, (Genesis 2: 24). And, since He took out one part(rib) from a man's body and made a woman, it's clear that a man cannot do anything against his own body which has separate life just as he do. And that means they have to agree to one another to do whatever they wish.
For example, a law or judgment has to be made but if one of them disagree there is no law or judgment, even if it is made it is void. It is not just example but should be applied if or whenever such time where a law or judgment needs to be made comes in their real life.
The difference between man and woman may be in physical body strength but they have equal heart, soul and mind, and man is not necessarily stronger in them but determined woman can be stronger in them, such is their equality.
Also, The Holy Lord God does not make a man to have all the rights and power over the earth. In fact He equally gave the rights and power to both of them man and woman, 50% each out of 100% when He told them to dominate the world, and that means, The Holy Lord God made man and woman (men and women/humans) to be the lords of the earth. (Genesis 1: 28, 29)

Also, The Holy Lord God does not make a man to have all the rights and power over the earth. In fact He equally gave the rights and power to both of them man and woman, 50% each out of 100% when He told them to dominate the world, and that means, The Holy Lord God made man and woman (men and women/humans) to be the lords of the earth. (Genesis 1: 28, 29)
That also means that, man(men) and woman(women) should rule the world together with equal rights and power, and not one of them should be higher but to agree to one another and rule.
Therefore, no one(man/woman) has any percent of rights or power over the other(woman/man). The husband cannot even touch his wife if she disagree needless to say that he cannot strike her with his hand or using any other means. That also means he cannot mentally torture her at all by any means. And, vice versa. Learn and talk it out.
So, as we have explained above a married couple, each of them have fifty percents out of hundred of rights and power over everything which is under their hands, including child/ren, property/ies and salary/ries/income, etc. since they are one flesh says the Holy Lord God. For example, would you let one of your feet wear a shoe but give nothing to the other foot, or you give to both of your feet a pair of shoes? (that is two fifty/ fifty fifty).
Couple (Man and Woman) Serves the Assembly as One

Couple (Man and Woman) Serves the Assembly as One
As we know the rights and power of man and woman is equal, any servant (which is known as president,../prime minister,.../chief minister, minister../and any other related office(like district town or whatever) in a corrupt political government upon which the Devil reign) appointed to serve the assembly as servant cannot serve the assembly without his wife/her husband. Both of them have to give their voices in every issue that arise for them solve, and if their voices cross it is void. And so will it be the same with all the other servants who are appointed to serve the assembly.
If there is an unmarried appointed servant among the servants of the assembly, the assembly as a whole should look for his match for his wife (as they should do to any other unmarried within the assembly who want to get married), no matter whether it takes to look for it in other independent assemblies of the same type or other type of assembly (which is defined in the following chapter - Golv).
If the unmarried appointed servant would not want to get married, his voice is count without the need of a partner/spouse. Yet, it is in the assembly’s decision on whether an unmarried one should be selected to be among the appointed servants before selection begins.
